LAMENTATIONS: GOD IS UNFAIR

                                                              

When I cannot understand God.

After reading this, one of you will include my name on the list of unbelievers. Out of abundance of the heart, my mouth wants to speak. Some will add this to the documents that are presently circulating which denies the ever occurrence of a human being called Christ but a certain law opposer. And if it was a fact that He came to die, why did Judas face such a painful death. Children are made to hate Judah in this teaching. He did not love money. He was the group treasurer! What is the fate of Judah anyway?

I believe in a powerful supreme being. God. My God has qualities different from that of yours. My God is incorruptible, just and Mighty. He may be like yours. But my God may not be necessarily openly loving, caring, understanding, patient and all those feminine qualities that you would want to associate Him with. Different personalities refer to God differently. But when you are an INTJ, you have a reason to look at such issues deeper.

I am not going to criticize God. I will capitalize His noun and pronoun. He still is God while I am a mere thing as any believer will force me to understand. Maybe I will collapse soon for being such a redundant. I am talking about why He may not be fair in His will on us. When Adam and Eve that fruit,our problems began. A fruit. Sour saliva down my throat. What kind of fruit could bring so much pain unto a mortal soul? If Adam and Eve ate, why did it have to bring problems as diseases, war, oppression, death and despondency even to the forthcoming generation? You may be thinking that the curse was universal. When she ate, what need was she satisfying? Disobedience?  Ok

When disciples of Jesus looked at the blind man, they considered him a cursed man. A person whose parents had sinned and had to bear the wrath. But you know what Jesus said? ‘That the will of God may be shown through Him’. Sour saliva. That you experience some nature of evil, bear the consequences of forces you do not know, be deprived of the rights of your soul just for God to be glorified. Surely! (I talk like a human being)

Religion was a necessity because man could not fathom mysteries- Evolution theory. In the past time, each community had its own kind of gods and ancestors that controlled unseen evil forces of other gods-bad people who may have died and roamed around to cause harm to the living. Ibo had Amadioha. Luhya had Nyasaye. The missionary came with the real God and all others were lowered to small g. What has changed? Is it not seemingly worse? Faith in Nyasaye could bring rain! Faith in tsinyasi could heal a dying man. Trust in Nyasaye could make a polygamous couple well going. This is just like Jesus would assure us. But in this error of Jesus people die of drought, hunger, Ebola, Aids and earthquakes. Just like it may have happened earlier before He was introduced in Sub-Saharan Africa.

There are stories that when told through the microphone and amplified in the speakers the Son of Soil gets illusions of this kind. That God knew that something may happen to this man who was to be made perfect then. Therefore, He already had Jesus whom in the fullness of time, was sent to cleanse what God could have solved immediately because He is powerful than Satan. I was in church on the Palm Sunday and the preacher made a pun…’Is Satan now holier that by his actions Christ was to die?’ Couldn't God had solved this by His powerful hand? As if the question was mightier, the answer was something like… ‘It is not easy to cleanse sin’. Good heavens!

Paul says that no mind has yet thought, no eye has seen, no ear has heard and if I am allowed to add a complimentary, no legs have walked in that place which has been prepared for believers. With this, we salivate to see that place. And the qualification? Experience the sufferings in  the Earth first. Pass through them. Be born an orphan. Have a dangerous whooping cough. Feel the pangs of hunger. Get rained on. Have a ruthless teacher and exam based schooling system. Fight the sexual temptations of your youthful days. Copy exams and pass. Be rejected, hated, despised, pay rent on soil that no human created, forced to follow laws or end up behind bars. In there, repent and carry the cross to calvary. Salvation. For if you spend your lifetime praying and fasting someone may rise up to tell you that you have been only behaving like a Pharisee and not very different from an harlot for all are sinners. My intestines!

It is good to believe than not to. Mostly because the Holy Scriptures say that there will be an end to everything- suffering and oppression. Poor people who are separated from the rich because they are more likely to steal will dine together. Ellen G White thinks that we will all resurrect at kinda same age. There will be no child, no old man. No woman and no man. If you believed you will not be flabbergasted when the Son of God will sit to judge. Unlike a believer. And so, people believe. If they knew otherwise, a commotion will occur at the hour when it will seem that it had all been useless. And humans will thence act devolic. They will invent a satan at that time and opposers a god. And the circle rotates.

Scratch a Christian and you will see a pagan, Mahatma Gandhi. A Christian will tell you that believing in God is not enough, neither in Jesus, neither in Faith, neither in hope, neither in Bible, neither in actions, neither in Church founders, neither in Church leaders, neither in present prophetic happenings, neither in the cross, water, ashes, wine, Name of God, neither in yourself. In each perspective, there is a limitation. And each dimension should be considered.  A multidimensional worship will do. Then the Son of Soil gets confused. If it is God it is Him! Or the Holy Ghost. But if you can carry all in the belief bag, better you son. Silence.

A meditation every morning and a late day prayer before bed will keep you away from the devil. A spirit being that they say you invented- or associated with in the fruit. May the meditation help me improve my health than it  would help me spiritually. It will not help you keep off sin. The flesh operates in such a manner to make the conscience guilty. Dean Koontz, One Door Away From Heaven- warns that one more caring is a a potential wound. The more you seem caring through a daily prayer is the more you increase your porous ability for sin, its awareness and its severe haunting. Remain impermeable by not minding about some things. Are you hearing?

The other day I was sharing with my  friend about personal attributes that do not necessary stem from God but He would take credit if it was right. One should not steal because it hurts the neighbour. One should not throw dirt anyhow because it degrades environment. One should feel the need to pray and God would remember him in His chosen time. She said that all begins with God. So all good things are of God? Yes and we know them because there is THAT OF GOD IN EVERY MAN. I can simply say there is a human in every person. And when you do bad, you perish. She cited no presence of God there. Does He not know where hell is? Nothing good can come from  me. Or you. Oh my! Why did I wake up today even? To what will credit be mine? I do not deserve.

Life should be plainly lived with high thinking, Srila Prabhupada. As I get out today, I will look into the world with more lookingness, to a beggar with more pityness, to a rich man with more admiringness, to a toddler with more caringness and to a woman with more feminineness. Then I will end up sinning. I do not know what sin but I know they say I do so many sins in a short period of time. Like electrons in an electric cable. Unknowingly. So that I remain demeaned. For honour will make me grow proud to challenge my chi to a fight. Let them say. But as for me and my God, we will talk at the hour. I will tell him how unfair he was as he tells me how much he loved me to let me suffer first. If not in this life, the other. He knows best.
