Luanda Reggae Defenders - what is your long term agenda?

Luanda Reggae Defenders is a now a popular movement with roots in Vihiga and border Siaya and Kakamega counties Attention is brought to the manner and conduct the movement has gained fame and followers, mainly the Youths. The movement capitalizes on funerals. With a poor culture of putting the dead to rest, the Reggae Defenders have taken it by storm and rebranded the infamous ‘Disco Matanga’ – disco at funeral. They have this huge old school sound system that is over buzzing to no clear reggae song - that they hire a pickup to carry - and it has a young DJ mainly standing there than mixing anything. That, is, how a fellow soldier, often a young dead, is mourned. ...

The MOON

I took the picture yesterday night. The moon was clear and could not be hidded in the cirrus. Unlike what I have written a poem about before (the crescent thing) , the grown moon is showing some more power and energy- like it is enjoying the best of its youthood. I wished the street lights that light the backyard went off to enjoy the natural healing shine.

I am afraid that the moon may leave for a while. If not today, tomorrow. But I would want it around for a little longer. And in my mind I remember the book I read five years ago; Ezeulu waiting for the sign. Today I woke up for it. The failure to find it in a given bookshop could not stop me. I have the book now! Exam revisions will have to wait alittle longer till minutes to the exam.

I am not sure whether it is full for I can sense hoarseness down on its edge. It was hard to identify a half moon and I am pretty sure it is hard to notice the change in size- just as it is difficult to see the sun changing position at Zeninth.

I am ready for the moon today night. Please be there for me dear moon.
