Luanda Reggae Defenders - what is your long term agenda?

Luanda Reggae Defenders is a now a popular movement with roots in Vihiga and border Siaya and Kakamega counties Attention is brought to the manner and conduct the movement has gained fame and followers, mainly the Youths. The movement capitalizes on funerals. With a poor culture of putting the dead to rest, the Reggae Defenders have taken it by storm and rebranded the infamous ‘Disco Matanga’ – disco at funeral. Reggae Defenders on move. Pic: Charles Rankings: Facebook They mobilize quickly on the day the dead will be discharged from the mortuary. They have this huge old school sound system that is over buzzing to no clear reggae song - that they hire a pickup to carry - and it has a young DJ mainly standing there than mixing anything. Often, against the rules, the casket is grabbed from a hearse vehicle and tied to a motorbike. There it will be swayed and jerk breaked between other motorbikes on the narrow roads. That, is, how a fellow soldier, often a young dead, is mourned. ...

Take heart bro. Providence is on way.

George Gamugoyi: The Christians that on this wall please take sometime in  prayers where you gather for worship,to stand with this family. It takes divine intervention for such kind of situations to be solved. Lets the family experience joy and relief at such trying moments

Lung'afa: It is such a difficult time to our brother and family. May all of us try to assist. πŸ™πŸΎπŸ™πŸΎ

George Gamugoyi: Mr lungafa, can you pls mobilise watu ambao hawajatoa atleast to do something,? Shida hupata mtu its just when,as little as Ksh ,100,kidogo kidogo hujaza kibaba

Lung'afa: All are listening. Maybe Baba Ndanyi to suggest the appeal.

Some have given something already but we can still do more.

I will be meeting Mr. Bulungu and Mberesia in Chamakanga tomorrow over a community library there  and I will ask them about the broader plans on the needy case because this evening they were attending a way forward session at the family.

- We comfort them.

Baba Ndanyi: I know its a sad situation for our extended family, even just giving 100 shillings to offset a bill of 12m??! I urge those who can give more to sacrifice to allow the family bury their loved one, I will sent my contribution tomorrow. I know most of us were not ready for this, but it's an emergency

Govedi Muzami: We have broadcasted this well. Personally I have shared in my year school and beyond....I am monitoring and tracking progress. God is GreatπŸ™πŸΏ

Patrick Indangasi‬: Or my Mpesa  O722427092

Lung'afa: Yes brother. We shall try our best. Our wish is to see you comforted and feel loved. We do read and hear of greater afflictions to people and in the end they triumphed. Take heart and win this test.

- It is well.

Patrick Indangasi‬: Thanks for support. I take this opportunity to thank Arthur Luvai for a donation of 10,000.

Julie Mahasi: He is a resourceful man. Thanks bro
