The struggle with many a rigid Logooli cultural practices

The Logooli community is one of the deeply cultured societies – with near everything supposed to have been done as per custom – to allow another custom to follow. One example is that for a mature man (with a child or more) to be buried, there must be a house structure at home. Another is that a boy must be circumcised and nursed in father land. If maternal family decides to, the boy will have a hard time reconnecting with father people - a dent on his masculinity. There were two children who got burnt to death in a house in Nairobi. The single mother had left for night work. Elders were told that one of the children was Logooli. The other, the woman had sired with someone else. Saniaga FC in FKF County League

Tomorrow we shall start our fight for Vihiga County League trophy (FKF). Our boys are ready to take on Rangers FC from Kigama at Wangulu Secondary field. The team has been registered to the league courtesy of Mbimwa Kereda through the CBO. On our side, the CBO is looking forward to  facilitating other nitties to engage our youths and make Saniaga a worthy course.

For a start, the kits will be branded Saniaga Sacco because it is our immediate activity we desire to see pick and great awareness raised on it. We are looking forward to increased participation and cooperation as we undertake this noble course that will go along way in making our youths feel engaged and responsible alike. We anticipate normal hitches of lacking one or two to meet logistics because of our state but we shall strongly surge on and prove our mantle among other youths in Vihiga.

And if there be any among us to support with items as glucose, you are welcome. Ours is to ensure wins and good play - and an active organisation.
