Luanda Reggae Defenders - what is your long term agenda?

Luanda Reggae Defenders is a now a popular movement with roots in Vihiga and border Siaya and Kakamega counties Attention is brought to the manner and conduct the movement has gained fame and followers, mainly the Youths. The movement capitalizes on funerals. With a poor culture of putting the dead to rest, the Reggae Defenders have taken it by storm and rebranded the infamous ‘Disco Matanga’ – disco at funeral. They have this huge old school sound system that is over buzzing to no clear reggae song - that they hire a pickup to carry - and it has a young DJ mainly standing there than mixing anything. Often, against the rules, the casket is grabbed from a hearse vehicle and tied to a motorbike. There it will be swayed and jerk breaked between other motorbikes on the narrow roads. Mijadala ya maktaba ya S-CBO - 2019

Maktaba ya S-CBO itahusisha shule 15 za msingi muhula huu wa pili kwenye mashindano ya mijadala yenye mada *Nyimbo za kale* . 

Muhula uliopita tulihusisha shule 8 zilizo karibu na maktaba ya Wangulu kwenye mashindano yaliyofana mno. Mada ilikuwa kwa kimombo; *application of mother-toungue as a guiding and counselling tool in primary schools*. Wanafunzi walioshiriki walipata fursa ya kujifunza uzuri wa lugha ya mama katika ujumla wa ukuzi bora wakiwa shuleni. 

Wanafunzi wanatarajiwa kufahamu vyema nyimbo za kale. Matumizi, maana, tofauti, ala, uigizaji wazo pia. Ufahamu huu utawasaidia kueleza pande zao za mijadala - ikiwa waunga mkono au wapinga mjadala. 

Saniaga ina jukumu kubwa la kutambua, kuhamasisha, kuhusisha, kuendeleza na kuhifadhi sajili asili ya jamii. Mijadala ni mojawapo ya njia za kutimiza malengo hayo. 

Tunakaribisha mawazo na usaidizi kwa kila anayehusika kufanikisha mada ya muhula huu.
