Lung'afa: Once a year, at AGM is when we shall publicly do that. But again, why should another person know what amount someone else has given? It has a procedure. Not such bare and public. More so because we have different economic capacities.
Lung'afa: Parading is not a good system. Suggest a better way of us updating.
Neccy Flossy: 👆🏾Mee too if you want to raise money and membership, then continue using the above original system. It carries motivation, and encourage those top ups to initial one share. If some system bore fruits. Then continue with it.

Lung'afa: Another Group won't work because of two main reasons.
1. Not all among the 42 are as 'serous' and reliable. Rather by being first does not mean you will finish the race.
2. There are yet to join more committed members whom in general urge shall turn out very supportive.
We therefore maintain a single group. Those who have paid and are willing to deposit more may be a little discouraged by the many onlookers...
We should see a way of engaging the committed ones in such a way that their financials are not 'publicised' and at the same time the yet to join keep encouraged.

Neccy Flossy: I seem to be going that way too Govedy. Let us not be ashamed of our work and our contributions. We have said how much one share costs. It doesnt mater whether you decide to contribute 100 bob daily with updates daily and in 30 days you would do 3K. Thats transparency Tunataka tuanze kujificha jificha na kuficha wale hawa taki kujoin, coushioning them and that may be the start of our down falls. I need also to k ow who i would get my 3K should those ashames drag us down. Good suggestion for paid up members wassap. Seriousness, accountability, progression, quickness in responses to money, and move on. Can we say that as at 1 Jan 2019 my contribution began earning interest, its been put to work and that i can withdraw it anytime. New Whassap please for progression so that those paid do not embarrass them that cannot commit, wont commit will never share their thought but of couse they are Saniago on CBO, Welfare but not on Sacco because they have choices and have choosrn where they want to belong

Can we simply raise that money without wanting to know who has given and who has not?
We do not need another group to do that. We do not need to list members to do that. The SACCO is good with 30 sharp members. Can we raise the money?

- The strength of the Sacco is in the few committed. Not the many interested.
Neccy Flossy: If in the silent majority one cannot commit on 100 bob daily with updates to afford a share, and here we are waiting for them (and why are we? ). Persuading them with no utter responses, then who got say here?

Luvai: I am in agreement with the sentiments expressed about a committed few, relative to the larger group of all Saniaga. I assume that the door will remain open to those who match that commitment.

The concerns are in order. It is 2019 and we do not need to keep belabouring on getting more members to start it off when a good number is already willing.
What we should do, and I am waiting for Baba Ndanyi to suggest farther, is for the 42 members to show a commitment of substance. There are members with 1000/- only who in my view do not meet the threshold of even joining another group if there is.
Maybe a report of progress can often be posted here for the consumption of SACCO members. Maybe weekly. As we keep conversing together even about other things away from the SACCO.
- Let us keep engaging.
Luvai: We should also not pitch the level of commitment too high so as to unfortunately lock out potentially good members.
Bella: Some of us joined this group afew days ago, we have asked for updates we havent gotten any. We are just seeing you discussing a sacco we have no information about. Can somebody please brief the new members.

Baba Ndanyi: Good morning family and happy new year; from the beginning we came together as family members, that has not changed, we are still one family and that's what it should be; anything else additional is just to boost the family, with or without the additionals, the family unit remains our focus, the Sacco, welfare, CBO, etc, those are signs of a vibrant family, we may not need another WhatsApp for the Sacco currently although we can't rule it out in the near future; we can continue displaying Sacco contributions per member as it's done now, no harm.
