Bella: Are subscriptions paid once annually? We cant backdate subscriptions to 2017 because when one joins n pays membership thats when they subscribe to the organization. So they start when one becomes a member

Bella: Like i said i only learnt of subscriptions to the CBA the other day. Nobody told me about it when i joined. I was only told about the sacco which i raised my concerns about joining a sacco whos mandate is not to give loans but invest in a dairy project. I even tried to tell you people saccos register an investment separate for investing but you guys wouldnt listen. I even left the group coz we have different understandings of sacco n u added me back!

So how was i to subscribe if i dint know anything about it

I still dont intend to join the sacco until i know its mandate. To give loans to members against their savings or invest in a dairy plant

I dont like to be bullyied. All these times weve talked on fone have you ever mentioned anything about CBO subscriptions? So why are you asking me why i havent subscribed yet?

Patrick Analo Akivaga: Morning,i think the challenge we face is the absence of elaborate institutional structures of governance which can compliment the efforts by Ndugu Lungafa.As a result he has been left almost alone to process everything.

Ngana Lubanga: Halo I agree with Bella. I didn't know that I was supposed to be a member of the CBO. Nevertheless I should not left but continue the battle if any from within. I shall be settling all my dues and updating all my payments next week. For Bella and others nowadays the law requires that Sacco and investment operate differently. Those who wish to join investment do so voluntarily. Sacco mandates can not be changed to do investment. Purely loans to members etc as provided by Sacco laws

Leadership is about humility not arrogance.it is about putting  interest of the people you are leading before your personal interests.N yes worse are those who support and feel they have a monopoly of ideas n more rights

Lung'afa: I have no problem with the stones. 😁😁. Let them come. My time to take some. I do throw too. It is a draw. But the Saniaga goals are our mark at the end of day which we need to chase whether there are stones or not. 

Saniaga as a whole is my study phenomena. Therefore I am not discouraged at all. I will study myself, I will study you all too in relation to Saniaga. Whether we are agreeing or disagreeing. It makes the story complete. Not all should agree with me. And I may not agree with all. 

Let us then pour out our hearts (or excuses? 😁😁). The course is hearty such that there is no thought of taking a break from it. Hata kama tutabaki wawili. Bado Saniaga wanazaliwa. 😉😉.

Baba Ndanyi: Good afternoon Vasaniaga, I have seen the points raised on argument about the Saniaga CBO and the Sacco, just for the record the Saniaga CBO is the the original idea, the CBO gave birth to everything else, the library, the Sacco; the CBO is still able to birth more depending on the enthusiasm of members, membership of the CBO is a must so that you have a say in other projects within the CBO, we are not asking for 10k, only a one time payment of 1k, the Sacco has its own statutory regulations which we cannot interfere with; the CBO has errands that can be handled by volunteer members just like Lung'afwa is doing, but there may be expenses beyond what Lung'afwa alone can afford, hence the inevitable membership fee, like the library for example, many of us had to chip in to drive the process, but when we have a membership fee kitty we are better off.p

Lung'afa: I mean a team of co-working brothers and sisters who will henceforth own up the mobilisation process, urge members to put in their best, go out of their ways to win friends in the course and directly answer to questions that may be brought about.

Lung'afa: Then we need a key person at the Accounting desk. To handle finances and such reports. Our treasurer is not of that field. Yet they can work together in that.

I appreciate the Saniagas who have reached out privately to speak their minds too. That is the spirit. 

If you are in doubt, if you see things going wrong, get in touch. The best way to express outward disappointment is after finding exceedingly incorrigible respondents. But here we are. Ready to  pick our phones on call, ready to reply texts. Let us be considerate therefore in our extremes. I advise myself too here. 

We look forward to a Special General Meeting soon that shall settle matters SACCO with a credit team expected to be formulated. The CBO executive on the other hand shall be meeting soon to brainstorm on the felt gaps and reason out an inclusive way forward.
