The Kamnara of Sakwa are making ground to build for future generations

Greetings from the Kamnara of Sakwa! The Kamnara people of Sakwa on 27th December 2024 gathered at Village Park, Ajigo (near Bondo). Hosted by Kwaka Joseph, they hearkened to the consultative forum call, arriving in good numbers and early enough for a successful day. The gathering was chaired by Mr. Nying’ro James Onyango, a former (retired) assistant commissioner of Police. The introductions were excellent. The genealogies were mentioned in reverence, lengthy ones applauded. And courtesy of Enos Oyaya’s book, “Kamnara my people”, anyone who would need help had the documentation. Oyaya had launched the Kamnara book on 30th December 2022 at his home in Kamnara Mwalo, an event that gathered Vakamnara from far and wide. “What can we do that the generations to come will benefit from?” This was the clarion Mr. Kwaka Joseph called on all to fashion their minds to. When we have short-comings...

Baba Ndanyi: You should never doubt what you think is the right thing to do, in fact start the idea and you will most likely get like minded people to get on board.

Erick Author: Perhaps a more... Courageous person should. Who can lash back at the inevitable backlash. Who can ably deal with Saniaga fiery tempers na mahaaangari. 😅😅

Baba Ndanyi: Stones being thrown at you for coming up with an idea is part of the deal within the Saniaga fraternity, amazi maduvuku gavula mu umuyaga!

Bensolo Ndanyi: Dreams are valid

Mudengani Kisia: Just as the library began, there also the Sacco will begin. lungafa, I think uvahullaa. Vafwanaa vavoraa you prove yourself to that extent. Tell them that complex things begin from the simple.

Jane Bwonya: A true sign of leadership is seen in the manner you deal with the stonethrowers who are out to test your temparament. Stand above the stones and use them as stepping stones to achieve your objectives.

Mudengani Kisia: Lungafa and @⁨Dr Sidika⁩  Go go go,  the  sky is the limit.  Bring light where there exists darkness.

Baba Ndanyi: We have to come up with a good way of dealing with our own shortcomings, we are an enlightened family with brains, courage, ideas and resolve, but we lack one thing, trust for one another, trust my words family, over 90% of us are very honest people and well meaning; in any setting, that percentage is way beyond the failure threshold, guys we are seating on a gold mine, we can set the pace for the rest.

Bensolo Ndanyi: True we should trust one another that's the only way could achieve alot in future with out trust we ain't going anywhere
