Luanda Reggae Defenders - what is your long term agenda?

Luanda Reggae Defenders is a now a popular movement with roots in Vihiga and border Siaya and Kakamega counties Attention is brought to the manner and conduct the movement has gained fame and followers, mainly the Youths. The movement capitalizes on funerals. With a poor culture of putting the dead to rest, the Reggae Defenders have taken it by storm and rebranded the infamous ‘Disco Matanga’ – disco at funeral. They have this huge old school sound system that is over buzzing to no clear reggae song - that they hire a pickup to carry - and it has a young DJ mainly standing there than mixing anything. Often, against the rules, the casket is grabbed from a hearse vehicle and tied to a motorbike. There it will be swayed and jerk breaked between other motorbikes on the narrow roads. That, is, how a fellow soldier, often a young dead, is mourned. ...

Sally Kosgei and Raila Odinga - Any Saniaga Relations?

-: Legendry say Oginga Odinga x4/5 generations belonged in the house of Nabongo Mumia Kingdom, therefore... Luhya ancestry. KABAKA n his kingdom ruled n stretched up to Naivasha.  Every year a homege was paid to Kabaka in Uganda for advice coz Nabongo controlled a sub-kingdom od Bunganda. One day, a mutiny erupted during those homages and Ogingax5 left in charge of Mumias led the war to prevent Nabongo to return from Buganda as there were disputes during the reigning. Kabaka was not happy of the erupted war and help Nabongo fight back Oginga so thatthe Nabongo kingdom is restored. Ogingax4 had made a grave mistake to which wazees were not happy so Kabaka bannished him to Sakwa. The whole clan had to leave Nabongo Kingdom n flee to Sakwa. And that is wgere they are today after assimilating with the Luos. HEARSAY? It could be until research unearthes similar or such a situation MU MADIKU GA MAZIAMBIRI GALA. -: Dr  Sally Kosgei is actually a Maragoli. I work with her step brother's son who is my close friend. Sally's dad is a Maragoli who bought land and lives in nandi. He has two sides - Sally's mom is a nandi  but the first wife who is my friend's dad's mom is a Maragoli.

-: I also heard that she is Umulogooli. I am glad it is confirmed here as true.

-: My late mother-in-law & I also spoke to her in Lulogooli in 2007 when Raila was seeking the presidency. My maternal cousin- a Mulogooli whose family migrated to Migori showed me Ida's birth-place (home) in Migori & told me they are Luhya. I can't remember if it is Kisa but her family lives among Avalogooli in Migori.so they know Lulogoolo & Dholuo.
