Bible and Archaeology

Mudengani Kisia: Good, I will answer them one at a time. First, Cain was not to be killed because of the mark, it is the mark which was to actually protect him from being killed. Second, I tend to think you haven't read the Genesis deeply. After Cain and Abel, Adam gave birth to other sons and daughters who inturn begat other sons and daughters and so the generations run down like that. Consider adam, Cain, Enoch, Methuselah etc all living 900+ years old. Therefore by the time Cain was say 800, we already had several generations below him. Thus the other generations of Adam from Seth would have held him guilty for their brothers blood, and I tend to think the mark was not to protect only cain, but his generations as well. Now Noah is the 10th generation from Adam according to the account, consider how many great grandchildren are those, and the Bible goes on to say and they begat other sons and daughters. Third, Noah was living in a section of the earth that was evil, the story may not actually be meaning  the whole earth in totality. But the reality of a rain that flooded nearly the whole earth, as it would be impossible to flood the whole earth totally. Now Joseph is the 23rd generation from Adam, this is after approximately 3050 years from Adam, how many great grandchildren are those down the line to be able to create a strong civilization? Yet Nimrod was only the 13th generation from Adam and had built a civilization that which would make a world order, to the extent that it took God's intervention to eradicate the same. Also, Since civilization is recent history, why wasn't our brain evolving for the millions of  years till as recent as 5000 BC? + Many many other questions that require answers! Now quote those civilizations and I'll verify from Google, I hope they are not stories of 'it is believed to have been...., We need the archaeological quoting'.

Lung'afa: Haha. Does the Bible have archaeological quoting save the writings of Josephus? It fails there. Now, I get that you truly believe that somebody could live 800 years.  Science knocks that off. Damn a century? When Jesus was begot by Mary at 12? That would even mean the Bible is a few century old account if a man gave birth at 20 if we say. Joseph being the 23rd generation it is simply 23*20 =460 years and not the 3k.

Mudengani Kisia: This is an account of people who were not fools. To give an account of generations from Adam to Christ together with actual dates does not certainly come from a person who does not precisely know what they are doing. There's a reason why the Bible gave that in plain language, so we could not be confused. In fact the Bible exactly quotes that this begat that when they were this amount of years old. It's precise mathematics and I worked it out myself, not archaeological data. If you need it I'll give it to you, because I know how difficult it is for some people to read the Bible.

Mudengani Kisia: Correct, every branch of knowledge in in there necessary for man total well being. We burden ourselves with much knowledge which eventually tends to ruin. Making people trust their own understanding.

Mudengani Kisia: Exactly, Charles Darwin's theory was speculative rather than impirical. This has since superceded by modern equipment that has revealed mysteries in the internal working of the cell processes. And lately, the magic of the DNA and it's information.
