Luanda Reggae Defenders - what is your long term agenda?

Luanda Reggae Defenders is a now a popular movement with roots in Vihiga and border Siaya and Kakamega counties Attention is brought to the manner and conduct the movement has gained fame and followers, mainly the Youths. The movement capitalizes on funerals. With a poor culture of putting the dead to rest, the Reggae Defenders have taken it by storm and rebranded the infamous ‘Disco Matanga’ – disco at funeral. They have this huge old school sound system that is over buzzing to no clear reggae song - that they hire a pickup to carry - and it has a young DJ mainly standing there than mixing anything. Often, against the rules, the casket is grabbed from a hearse vehicle and tied to a motorbike. There it will be swayed and jerk breaked between other motorbikes on the narrow roads. That, is, how a fellow soldier, often a young dead, is mourned. ...

Comparatively, do we patronise our own?

-: I want to challenge you by some few facts about Kenya
1. If you count 10 wealthiest people in Kenya vosi ni Vaseve.
2. If you count 100 wealthiest people in Kenya, 95 ni Avaseve, naali Umuluhya ni mulala.
If you count 10 wealthiest people in Kenya who are not politicians, vosi ni Vaseve.
3. Count 100 wealthiest individuals who are not politicians, vosi ni Vaseve.
4. Count 10 wealthy people who have become bankrupt, Umuseve ave muvo mba.

-: They're great pple to work with

-: Yaani it amazes me how they're just born with great business tips, they know how to maneuver n make it !Waa God's mysteries

-: Luhyas wivu itawamaliza, though with their hardworking they're known to be good house girls n watchmen! Sad

-: No, they are just like you and me, but they know how to grow each other, they patronize their own, they support each other, can we do the same? Hardly!!

-: Exactly,  the big word is PATRONISATION.. I think this is what we are trying to imitate here

-: Yeah, it reminds me since I was brought up in a Kikuyu neighborhood, I learnt part of their language so one day was looking for a vacant shop, when I met this lady n asked her she was abit reluctant but immediately I started speaking Kikuyu weee she became friendly n was willing to go an extra mile to get me a shop! Was amazed( lugha ya biashara)

-: They give their own a chance first before considering others, like it or not that's what we are going to do soon with our Saniaga group and I will advocate for that!

-: The people who organise the stealing of votes are actually remote from Uhuru. They are protecting their illegal businesses. Uhuru yake ni kuamka aambiwe things are in order. God is purnishing them now. Wonder why nowadays rain is not sufficient in central Kenya.

-: Will one of our own become president one day? Mnaonaje hii 2022 na musalia?

-: But they'll not go hungry just because there is no rain in Central, they'll get their food supply from Kitale, all those maize brokers are from Central Kenya and are there to ensure that their kin don't lack food, and by the way, they are sponsored by Equity Bank!!

-: What God can do surpasses the ability of man. These are but the early warnings.

-: @⁨Mudengani Kisia⁩
What do you make of Jimi Wanjigi, switching allegiance between the power houses without feeling the financial pinch?

-: Ndo sasa ntasema si Kikuyu wote wana surpport hii wizi. The most learned and civilized know what is happening. But what I make of him is what I make of any other individual who has potential to transform the world in any way they can. But I don't believe it's by wealth that the world can be transformed, rather by value. In definition you'll agree with me that the two are different.

-: My original idea is that we get to influence what is happening now, we are honest by nature, but we can get involved to outdo the dishonest and the thieves, if you look closely at Sosa, you'll see a lot of honest hard work, no corruption, but those who patronize the place are other people, we should go there, take one boiled egg and wash it down with a glass of plain water even if that costs 100/=, don't complain because that is its class.

-: Metrine Livole my darling sister, I am ashamed that you consider them your pips.

-: I can't yet say we are not supportive or we do not well PATRONIZE our own because I am yet to learn that by myself, sio kuambiwa. A few years will tell but I am optimistic that if efforts are good all will be good.
- Let us beat our own paths!

-: My children ni vifwa Vaseve so please, kandi kali niiva sinyanziliranga Avaseve ligali mba navuzwa ndayiga amanyiingi kuvo, vaveeye na groups kuli yitu yiyi na vakola amanyingi, izinyumba ziamulolaanga Ruaka, Uthiru, izia kunyi komenyi mu nikuvatunga rents, vumbaka nimiganda jyuvulala kuli ugwitu gwa Avasaniaga yigu.
