Religion, issa a lie, is not a lie.
Karani Walter: Religion issa lie.
Baba Ndanyi: @Karani Walter
Religion is not a lie, may be you need to inquire further where these big economies started, during the time of Martin Luther King, those countries of Europe including Germany where Luther King came from, the protestant churches sprouted like bush fire, in brief they were just like we are now, and again most of the churches in Kenya are branches or affiliates of American or European churches. God is real, but humans can be deceitful for one reason or another.
Karani Walter: Ecomomy and spiritual matters cannot be mixed.. Am against organised religion not spirituality. God is one, religions are uncountable... God is in you not these religious books(they act as a guideline to spirituality. So which religious book is right and which one is wrong?) . Religion is a wide topic that we can't exhaust in argument in a day considering the fact that humans misinterpret almost every verse and furthermore blind others like the whiteman stole your land when you were busy praying for blessings. Which other blessings? apart from all land and life
+254 727 0607ff: My friend GOD created this world, and all fullness belong to him.Economy and political and social matters are interwoven. They can't do without the other greatest being spiritual aspects.
Baba Ndanyi: In every facet of life, there must be some positives and negatives, good and bad, likes and dislikes, even in professions, we have doctors, engineers, hoteliers, teachers, etc, shades of opinions even occur where you expect uniformity, religion is no exception, we have to learn to live with those who think or act differently, its a fact of life otherwise life would be boring.
Jeska sidika Wambani: I am glad to read the different analysis of the religion post. Just remember that the European economy was based on religion. The prominent were Catholic in Central Europe and Anglican in England. The Kings were the head of the church. They experienced what we have in Africa now. Few prominent educated people who ruled and majority were workers until the revolutions. We are just following their footsteps but we need to analyze and see what to throw away. Sidika
Mudengani Kisia: I second that what is spiritual is more real and permanent than the physical.
Mudengani Kisia: Religion are all forms of human worship. what we need to know is which one is true worship coz the truth must be lying somewhere. According to me Christianity is the only form proven beyond doubt.
Martin Kidiavai: Religion is complex that is why even sect like Mungiki it is....
Mudengani Kisia: True, one can be spiritual well as political and live a successful legacy. The notion that spirituality and politics cannot blend isn't actually true. One character that combined the two quite successfully is the great king David.
Lung'afa: Going to church is a social occasion where people meet friends and maintain relationships. That is okay and good with me.
- But God is deep a thing only halfly spoken about in the name of worshipping. Personally God is something deeep deeeep not to be spoken but experienced.
+254 727 0607ff: Wrong motive and mockery. Church is where people meet their creator to worship Him in truth and spirit. GOD is not mocked, whatsoever aman soweth,so he reapeth. Romans10:13-17,
