Heavy responsibilities for elder aunt among the Logooli

With Seenge Fonesi. She is the elder grand daughter of Isagi and elder daughter of Amugasya. She is often present in functions involving the family of Amugasya. Pic taken on 18/4/2024. To her marital family she may appear as any other woman, but she is not so in the eyes of her people. Marriage does not steal her away as it would happen with other daughters of the old man. To her, as days go and the old man and woman of the estate are dependents, she becomes increasingly present.  Her brothers also need her for almost all traditional markings. They are marrying, she needs to welcome the new wife. They are giving birth, she needs to come to midwife or “bless” the new born. They are paying dowry she needs to lead the women delegate. There is a conflict she needs to come for a hearing.  And many others. Traditions does not expect her to

-: I would like to suggest that you also inform us on the type of menus you have and the price per plate, so that we can decide on the menus that you can avail to us on the material date. Sidika

-: We provide 2 meat items ,3 starch, vegetables, assorted salads, desert and one soft drink

Hubert is brief, he will give what you want I guess bora tu ulipe 1400 per person. That is how I get him. Ours would be to reason out the price.

-: Menus are diverse more so functional menus coz it depends on the needs of a specific group. Ala carte menu are always available.

-: I think it will be prudent to do 1.whole mbuzi with wet fry,boiled, matumbo,n soup. Then add local veges different variety, kachumbari.
2. Accompaniments: ugali/ndizi/fried potatoes.
3. Chicken roasted
4.Bottled water n soda.
My suggestion.

-: Mutere nu vuchima( Voro/maduma). Mutere made with mkereka. Chai ya majani (without milk). That is why I wanted to know what would be on the buffet. Sidika

-: Mr. Hubert l  think you will have to bend some rules for this family.  can you liase with metrine and see if you can come out with a budget for this occasion.  I know as  a family man my teens won't  be left out. I want them to sample it out as they will pick the Barton tomorrow.

As I can see Chakava atakula mbuzi, Metrine Isindo and Dr. Sidika  veges. Getting?

-: Guys, I am not opposing your suggestions or taste, but I would prefer we go and sample what they are offering, if all of us were to go by our wants and tastes, we'll end up harassing the guy, am sure they have experience in guests preferences, let's ask for special offer for the group but we pick from what they have so that next time we can talk from experience!

-: Btw Hubert, just like any walk in guests who comes n asks to have a look at the menu before ordering, that's what we did. If you're well familiarized with the Sosa menu I'd expect a satisfactory answer from you that would leave as salivating n ordering for a starter right a way as we perused the menu or looking forward to visit the cottages with more recommendations! pls use your up selling skills well since we decided to pay a visit to our very own.
