The struggle with many a rigid Logooli cultural practices

The Logooli community is one of the deeply cultured societies – with near everything supposed to have been done as per custom – to allow another custom to follow. One example is that for a mature man (with a child or more) to be buried, there must be a house structure at home. Another is that a boy must be circumcised and nursed in father land. If maternal family decides to, the boy will have a hard time reconnecting with father people - a dent on his masculinity. There were two children who got burnt to death in a house in Nairobi. The single mother had left for night work. Elders were told that one of the children was Logooli. The other, the woman had sired with someone else. The Logooli family wanted to burry their little one and long discussed the do’s and don’ts. Of a man who died childless and the grave was placed as if he had died as a man with children. It should have been dug on the sides, the grave. A real thorn should have been thrust in his buttocks, his name go...

Having only youthful discussions? (Unfocused?)

Lung'afa: We need more Saniagas added to the circle. Who got contacts?
- WhatsApp allows 250 maximum number of contacts in a group, DOES IT?
- Let us achieve that today FAMILY.

Evans Muhali: Wore!!! Wore!!! Msaniaga ki uyu vee? Someone is added to the group and lefts immediately without even saying "Milembe"

Lung'afa: Ama aliona Dear Lord....

Victor Mutingu: yeye ni msweta

Lung'afa: Its a family, u know. And all characters, all moods, all madness, all 'curses' - good curses are in. And at this age we got to accommodate all.
- Welcome and may we keep adding them.

Lung'afa: Vasweta vayambakana ivusaniaga?

Victor Mutingu: Ain't familier with miriango

Pat Ngoda: Would have added my elder siblings but naona ni kama huenda hawatafit. The descussions here appear to be of a youthful nature. Hapa kuna wazee?

Lung'afa: Elders are in the house...

Lung'afa: They just have to fit and as a family stoop - or lift the bar. That is if we do not define elderliness by age...

+254 727 06073x‬: They should give there input. Though haven't met majority of members ,one can easily tell youth and Elders from the postings. Elders pls input stuff for younger to learn.

Pat Ngoda: Sawa, ongeza hawa 072243111x, 072275804x, 073391719x, 072189498x. Amongst them we have a prof and an award winning author/ writer.

Lung'afa: Wololo, everyone is an Admin, u can add. Tutakusaidia.
- Now we got to up our game because serious people are in the house - were.

Once we hit 250 no more members will be added. Its the maximum. Zuckerberg to blame. Therefore it is a great privilege to be in.

- More of our Brothers and sisters please

Pat Ngoda: Well, didn't know that. Adding them pap

Lung'afa: Pleasure. God bless you.
