Luanda Reggae Defenders - what is your long term agenda?

Luanda Reggae Defenders is a now a popular movement with roots in Vihiga and border Siaya and Kakamega counties Attention is brought to the manner and conduct the movement has gained fame and followers, mainly the Youths. The movement capitalizes on funerals. With a poor culture of putting the dead to rest, the Reggae Defenders have taken it by storm and rebranded the infamous ‘Disco Matanga’ – disco at funeral. They have this huge old school sound system that is over buzzing to no clear reggae song - that they hire a pickup to carry - and it has a young DJ mainly standing there than mixing anything. Often, against the rules, the casket is grabbed from a hearse vehicle and tied to a motorbike. There it will be swayed and jerk breaked between other motorbikes on the narrow roads. That, is, how a fellow soldier, often a young dead, is mourned. ...

Agendas for AGM be precisely short.

Lung'afa: Good morning family,

Agendas need be few. Two or three.

One that I think is to discuss ways of increasing cooperation and acting as a link between Saniaga groups. That we become the umbrella body, championing formation of more saniaga groupings wherever people are and providing whatever cooperation to see the groups sustain.

That is one, we need discuss and expand on it, make it viable. We remaining with Two more. Or one. Before AOB.

So as we rise, cocks have already risen, may we wake up a new! To think of taking our family tag higher.

Good day, good people.

Jeska sidika Wambani: Good morning all. I agree, the agenda should short. So agenda one is to think of recruitment of members and develop networks.
I suggest we should start with a prayer then introductions with a brief Biography of members present, two: would be recruitment strategy, three: be any member present to give their ideas on future engagement/ investments/or anything they think the group should achieve with involvement in county development agenda, lastly AOB. 1: Introduction, brief Bio
2: Membership drive/recruitment
3: Saniaga future activities/ engagement
4: AOB
Thank you. Sidika

Jeska sidika Wambani: I meant the agenda should be short. The committee should come up with a strategy on who should lead the discussions and what future activities we should sort of put on the table for discussion. For example, education, health and social motivational mentorship programs especially during school holidays or give talks in schools. Sidika

Jeska sidika Wambani: I hope the secretary is keeping the record of the positive responses and noting down for our review on 8th/9th Dec. Sidika

Lung'afa: I am.
- With Pleasure.
