The struggle with many a rigid Logooli cultural practices

The Logooli community is one of the deeply cultured societies – with near everything supposed to have been done as per custom – to allow another custom to follow. One example is that for a mature man (with a child or more) to be buried, there must be a house structure at home. Another is that a boy must be circumcised and nursed in father land. If maternal family decides to, the boy will have a hard time reconnecting with father people - a dent on his masculinity. There were two children who got burnt to death in a house in Nairobi. The single mother had left for night work. Elders were told that one of the children was Logooli. The other, the woman had sired with someone else. As we approach the AGM

Family, thanks for birthday wishes.

As we all know, the AGM will start 9am on Saturday. I texted individuals and some confirmed attendance.

It should be noted that the lack of time does not exempt one  from committing to the contributions. Simply because what shall be discussed is for the greater Good of us all. And also people will need updates. That is why contribution is not an option.

If you are not sure 'how to come' it will be alright to say 'you can be escorted'. Get hold of  a son/daughter and come along. Get hold of your father or grandfather and come along. You shall have done something rememberable.

For those who haven't yet confirmed through payment, you will do so on Saturday.

May God bless us as we purpose to attend.

PS; - Youths in the house, we having a hike to the hills on 29th, tomorrow. Wanna join?

PSS; - See you all on Saturday.
