Luanda Reggae Defenders - what is your long term agenda?

Luanda Reggae Defenders is a now a popular movement with roots in Vihiga and border Siaya and Kakamega counties Attention is brought to the manner and conduct the movement has gained fame and followers, mainly the Youths. The movement capitalizes on funerals. With a poor culture of putting the dead to rest, the Reggae Defenders have taken it by storm and rebranded the infamous ‘Disco Matanga’ – disco at funeral. They have this huge old school sound system that is over buzzing to no clear reggae song - that they hire a pickup to carry - and it has a young DJ mainly standing there than mixing anything. Often, against the rules, the casket is grabbed from a hearse vehicle and tied to a motorbike. There it will be swayed and jerk breaked between other motorbikes on the narrow roads. That, is, how a fellow soldier, often a young dead, is mourned. ...

Jeska sidika Wambani: This is good information. Let's plan with 25 persons for the meeting but inform Sosa that the number could go up to 50. We can then give them updates as the number increases. We should then  ask all in the main group who would/ how many require room reservation. This information should be given by next Sunday. Sidika

Jeska sidika Wambani: Good evening all and Christmas greetings from me! As the date for our meeting and get together draws near,  I am getting some excitement to meet and network with you all. There are however some meeting logistics that we should all understand. I would like to suggest that for planning purposes, we pay shs(k) 500membership fee and the suggested shs(k)1000 for the luncheon. The Hotel needs our confirmation of the number of persons who will attend for planning of their services. Kindly indicate your participation and send your payments to our sister Metrine ASAP before the 8th December 2017. I really want to bond with my Saniaga relatives. We need to act ASAP.
