Luanda Reggae Defenders - what is your long term agenda?

Luanda Reggae Defenders is a now a popular movement with roots in Vihiga and border Siaya and Kakamega counties Attention is brought to the manner and conduct the movement has gained fame and followers, mainly the Youths. The movement capitalizes on funerals. With a poor culture of putting the dead to rest, the Reggae Defenders have taken it by storm and rebranded the infamous ‘Disco Matanga’ – disco at funeral. They have this huge old school sound system that is over buzzing to no clear reggae song - that they hire a pickup to carry - and it has a young DJ mainly standing there than mixing anything. Often, against the rules, the casket is grabbed from a hearse vehicle and tied to a motorbike. There it will be swayed and jerk breaked between other motorbikes on the narrow roads. That, is, how a fellow soldier, often a young dead, is mourned. ...

Happy 2nd Anniversary Saniaga WhatsApp Group! 7/8/2019

Now, Now Now, 

It is well in August Family

This group will be 2 yrs old since we formed, 7/8/2017. 

I wouldn't want to belabor on the steps and achievements we have been able to make since. Each day has seen us grow in interaction and activity. 

As we arrive at 7th August again, I urge us to do some justice to this group. If you are registered and you haven't renewed your membership, please do. If you haven't registered as a member of Saniaga CBO please do so in the meantime. It is only Ksh 500/- for both renewal and registration. 

Unless otherwise you do not have to pay any other monies to the CBO in the year once you pay in Ksh 500/-. 

Your Ksh 500/- supports the following activities in the year;- 
- Saniaga Oral Genealogy Documentation.
- Promotion of Indigenous Knowledge & Enterprise
- Community Library(s) set up and facilitation of activities.
- Mobilization for Saniaga Sacco. 

May us all, seeing to this be of easy approach, winning the Ksh 500/- and any other progressive favours to Saniaga CBO.
