The Kamnara of Sakwa are making ground to build for future generations

Greetings from the Kamnara of Sakwa! The Kamnara people of Sakwa on 27th December 2024 gathered at Village Park, Ajigo (near Bondo). Hosted by Kwaka Joseph, they hearkened to the consultative forum call, arriving in good numbers and early enough for a successful day. The gathering was chaired by Mr. Nying’ro James Onyango, a former (retired) assistant commissioner of Police. The introductions were excellent. The genealogies were mentioned in reverence, lengthy ones applauded. And courtesy of Enos Oyaya’s book, “Kamnara my people”, anyone who would need help had the documentation. Oyaya had launched the Kamnara book on 30th December 2022 at his home in Kamnara Mwalo, an event that gathered Vakamnara from far and wide. “What can we do that the generations to come will benefit from?” This was the clarion Mr. Kwaka Joseph called on all to fashion their minds to. Welcome to Saniaga Family (B).

-: Greetings and Good morning Family. 

You are hereby added/readded to this noble group with an aim of keeping Saniaga Identity alive and active. 

You are expected to share your knowledge and offer your advises for the good of us all. In return you shall be able to learn more and appreciate the whole effort. 

We keep it Saniaga here. No sharing what does not concern Saniaga. No foul language. We have senior people as well as the young ready to be mentored here. Failure to adhere to these simple conduct will lead you to being considered unabiding and thereafter removed for some time. We do not with for that to happen. 

This is Saniaga Family (B). There is a full house at Saniaga Family (A). And if this group fills we shall open Saniaga Family (C). Because we are many and a group can only have 257 member limit. Let us make B a super zone. Let us push for Saniaga agenda as A and B would or as best as we can. You will always be informed of what is going on in all the Saniaga groups on WhatsaApp and at homes.

Saniaga group is not new to us nor our fathers nor grandfathers. There were efforts all through the generations to have the people unified, communing often with each other and helping in need. This group is one version of the efforts to gather us from wherever parts of the world. 

There are also active Saniaga groups on the ground that we aim to strengthen and capacity build. We also desire to see more formed. More about the groups is at the blog and the website. 

May we therefore offer a sustainable professional approach to the course - strengthening our relationships here and participating in the various groups. You can also offer your support to see activities/programs happen. And in that manner we shall leave a mark of our time.
