Luanda Reggae Defenders - what is your long term agenda?

Luanda Reggae Defenders is a now a popular movement with roots in Vihiga and border Siaya and Kakamega counties Attention is brought to the manner and conduct the movement has gained fame and followers, mainly the Youths. The movement capitalizes on funerals. With a poor culture of putting the dead to rest, the Reggae Defenders have taken it by storm and rebranded the infamous ‘Disco Matanga’ – disco at funeral. They have this huge old school sound system that is over buzzing to no clear reggae song - that they hire a pickup to carry - and it has a young DJ mainly standing there than mixing anything. Often, against the rules, the casket is grabbed from a hearse vehicle and tied to a motorbike. There it will be swayed and jerk breaked between other motorbikes on the narrow roads. That, is, how a fellow soldier, often a young dead, is mourned. ...

Support activities through membership

-: Hello Family, 

This is our membership/support to the CBO so far. 

Remember the CBO is charged on daily basis to be active with its activities. And your kind/monetary support is welcome to facilitate the course. 

Saniaga has 4 main areas of attention;- 

- Pedigree/Family tree search 
- Documentation of Indigenous Knowledge
- Championing setting up of Community Libraries
- Economic empowerment through Saniaga Sacco. 

Of the four, The CBO is charged with the first 3. Your continous support is key to making it a success and sustainable.

500ksh was for registration

2500 ksh was for my shares

I should not contribute if I am not a member😊

The 3k was for Sacco registration and initial share. 

The Sacco is your cash. The CBO is for programs. To have them running. 

Contribution to the Sacco does not help the CBO ... Not as at now. 😊

@⁨John Mutiva Baraza⁩ just did that way to the Saniaga account, with only a month or less in the group. 

We may postpone our paying but some good evening like today all of us will agree that the CBO is as important as the SACCO and we needed to put in our best from the first day.
