The struggle with many a rigid Logooli cultural practices

The Logooli community is one of the deeply cultured societies – with near everything supposed to have been done as per custom – to allow another custom to follow. One example is that for a mature man (with a child or more) to be buried, there must be a house structure at home. Another is that a boy must be circumcised and nursed in father land. If maternal family decides to, the boy will have a hard time reconnecting with father people - a dent on his masculinity. There were two children who got burnt to death in a house in Nairobi. Proposed Constitution Organs

HELLO FAMILY,

Here is a brief explanation of the constitution organs (teams) that will keep us all tasked for common course. As we may find it fit we can have teams as per areas of location for example  Entrepreneurship Team for those in Nairobi, Resource Mobilisation Team for those in Nandi Ambassador Team for those overseas and Welfare Team for those in Vihiga etc.

That would define agendas for meetings in those areas. And no one is prevented choosing to be in more than one. All Teams aim to increase our efficiency, inclusivity and support quick growth at the same time making Saniagas know each one another.

Team leaders work together with the Excecutive Committee.

The interim Executive Committee is of five members and would be confirmed or changed at our first AGM come December 2017.
Chairperson is Joseph Ndanyi
Secretary is Lung'afa Patrick
Treasurer is Metrine
Kibisu Joash and Mudengani Kisia make it a complete executive committee.

Teams are
1- Entrepreneurship to spearhead investments

2 - Resource Mobilisation to increase our capacity to undertake projects

3. Talent Team to support Creative efforts.

4. Welfare Team to mind about needs and issues of members wherever they are.

5. Organising Secretariat to work with teams and ensuring continuous association.
