The struggle with many a rigid Logooli cultural practices

The Logooli community is one of the deeply cultured societies – with near everything supposed to have been done as per custom – to allow another custom to follow. One example is that for a mature man (with a child or more) to be buried, there must be a house structure at home. Another is that a boy must be circumcised and nursed in father land. Saniaga; Achievement is now.

Early today we had an ad hoc, we were happy that Saniagas have shown great will to kindle the fire and live the dream that our forefathers wished. On right is a father, lulogooli enthusiast, a committed person. His name is Ndanyi Joseph, our interim Chairperson. On left is Metrine Livole; jovial, talkative, banker come hotelier. She is our good Treasurer. And at the centre, the boy, is an interim secretary. Destination is Here, Today, Now, the Love, Togetherness, Dreaming Big.
