The struggle with many a rigid Logooli cultural practices

The Logooli community is one of the deeply cultured societies – with near everything supposed to have been done as per custom – to allow another custom to follow. One example is that for a mature man (with a child or more) to be buried, there must be a house structure at home. Another is that a boy must be circumcised and nursed in father land. If maternal family decides to, the boy will have a hard time reconnecting with father people - a dent on his masculinity. There were two children who got burnt to death in a house in Nairobi. The single mother had left for night work. Elders were told that one of the children was Logooli. The other, the woman had sired with someone else. The Logooli family wanted to burry their little one and long discussed the do’s and don’ts. Of a man who died childless and the grave was placed as if he had died as a man with children. It should have been dug on the sides, the grave. A real thorn should have been thrust in his buttocks, his name go...

I suggest you go straight to the point. Why does this group exist, what's the expectation and what's the benefit.

Ndanyi: Ok then but its usually good to taste the food before u say its ready 😊....but someone will answer this in a minute

Lung'afa: Haha. Ben, answer them.  Vasaniaga are terror! Now, if you knew what Saniaga is you wouldn't start by asking what our aims and goals are. You would say 'Thanks, I'm home!' We are here as Saniaga Family, we share an ancestor and there have in the past existed saniaga associations (among our grandfathers). We are here to revive that dream.  And it would be more than pleasing if each and every one of us was part of it.

Joash: Mr Joseph take control. Enlighten the new guys

Lung'afa: There are many articles about our migration, settling and up to date info. Please visit @ saniaga.blogspot.com

Ndanyi: Welcome all if any new member has any question feel free to inbox me al try answer all your questions

Lung'afa : For those who are joining we say 'Karibu Nyumbani.' Saniaga is the heritage we have and we gather here to spearhead it for the better. May as many doubt questions be raised. As we seek clarification we shall be moving along together.

Lung'afa: Additionally, being here and speaking wont be as motivating as if we used the opportunity to build a future. That is why we came up with an idea to have us registered. We starting the process on Monday the 11th. In the meantime we are contributing an amount of 500/ sent to Metrine. Numbers do not lie and if we took upon ourselves to build an Empire we would in the shortest time possible.
